Our new range of Cover Version lampshades breathes new life back into the vinyl single of the past. We have blown away the dust from the boxes of vinyl in the basement and have repurposed original 7 & 12 inch single sleeves to create beautiful lampshades for your home.
Impress your friends and gain eco-points too, as Cover Version lampshades encourage the reuse and repurposing of old materials into new and desirable objects. (We have to look after this world of ours).
Each paper sleeve is sandwiched between two pieces of recyclable polypropylene sheet, which is then slotted onto a wire frame. The 7” shade is ideal for table standing lights and the 12” version can be used on table or floor standing lights and can be adjusted, (by changing the position of the wire frame), to be used as a pendant lampshade hanging from the ceiling.
Don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten about the record – each lampshade is sent with its matching vinyl record, so you can admire the funky shade you have just bought with the music playing along in the background. Please remember that we are supplying original records to you and we cannot guarantee that they will be in perfect condition.
Our Cover Version shades are all one-offs! So if you see one you like, don’t hang around!
The Cover Version lampshades have been safety tested. Use compact fluorescent lamps (these bulbs are very good for the environment and last up to 10,000 hours! Definitely the way to go).
